How nature play spaces support positive child development.

In this report by I explore 6 Nature Based Play projects. Through observation of children and interviews with the School/Centre Operators, the impact of these spaces on children’s play and development is explored.

This report is a great introduction to nature play spaces, why these spaces are so important and what children need to get the most out of their nature play experience.

I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I live and learn; the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation.

I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and thank them for caring for this land, and I extend that respect and thanks to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
